Mamma Lucia's

I went to Mamma Lucia's, which is close to my house, on Friday night for dinner. When we got there, there were many people. It took a while to get a seat, and took even longer to order. Though I was entertained by the TV's they have. We had decided to get a Large Cheese Pizza, but we could've gotten other pizza's like the Meat Lovers Pizza, The White Pizza, or, even better, the Broccoli White Pizza. They also had a kid's menu, which had things like Macaroni & Cheese, Spaghetti & Meatballs, and a Slice Of Cheese Pizza. They also had other things like Baked Ziti, Shrimp Scampi, and Chicken Baltimore.

After my mom ordered, we got our drinks. Then I realized they didn't have kid's sized cups. Actually, they only had one size, which was medium. It took a long time for our food, but I feasted on Mozzarella Sticks, which you have to order. They were fantastic! They were cheesy, and the bread was baked perfectly. The only problem, though, was that there weren't that many and they were small.

When our food came, it looked delicious! Though, since it was steaming hot, we had to wait a few more minutes before we could take a bite out of it. Though when I did, I thought it was terrific! It was cheesy, though the cheese did fall off the pizza. I loved it! I give ***1/2 stars for kid friendly and ****1/2 stars for food. Well, that's all. Bye!

Jason's Deli

Guess what? I went to Jason's Deli with Richard Gorelick, the food writer for The Baltimore Sun, in Timonium, Maryland! We went there since it was said to be a very kid friendly place by Parent's Magazine.

When I got there, and after I sat down, I immediately searched for a kids menu, which there was. There were a lot of things on the kids menu. Some of the choices were Cheese Pizza, a Turkey & Cheese sandwich, and a Kid's Baked Potato.

Though instead of getting something off of the kids menu, I decided to get a meataballa sub as a half slim and a bowl of broccoli and cheese soup off the regular menu. Even though they had a lot of choices on the kids menu, none of them surprised me. Plus, even though they said that it is a deli, there weren't very many sandwiches on the kids menu.

Some of the choices on the regular menu were salads, sandwiches, subs, pasta, and paninis and wraps. They also had soups like Tomato Basil, Organic Vegetable, and a Soup Of The Day for every day of the week. My brother got buttered bow tie noodles, even though it wasn't technically on the kids menu and my sister got a PB&J from the kids menu. Richard got a Reuben THE Great, my mom got a chicken salad wrap sandwich, and my dad got a special sandwich.

After we ordered, we got our drinks and sat down. About five minutes later, our food came, which was really quick. My meataballa sub was okay, but wasn't the best sub I've ever had. There was a lot of bread and the meataballs were falling out of the meataballa sub. The broccoli and cheese soup was the best I ever had! It was really cheesey, and there was a lot of broccoli in there too, which can help keep a healthy diet.

After dinner we got dessert. There were desserts like cookies, dessert bars, brownies, and strawberry shortcake. But I decided to get the free ice cream bar, which is in Jason's Deli. On some desserts you can even get the ice cream on the dessert. The ice cream was really great, but the sad thing was that it had only three flavors, chocolate, vanilla, and swirl. You also had 2 choices, a cup or a cone. I got a swirl in a cone. It was delicious! It was really creamy and cold, plus it had the right amount of chocolate and vanilla.

Before I left, I saw that they had lollipops and mints in bowls on the way out, though I didn't take one. I give **** stars for food and **** stars for kid friendly. The reason why I think 4 stars for kid friendly is because even though they're fast, there's no entertainment around. As far as being the best restaurant in America, I think they could do better by putting more deli sandwiches on the kids menu.

S&J Crab Ranch In Towson

I went to a place called S&J Crab Ranch in Towson,MD. When I got there, a waitress immediately seated us and left so we could look at the menu. They had lots of items on it, such as the Crab Ranch Burger, Baby Back Ribs, and Free Range Chicken. They also had kids meal items such as Fried Shrimp, Grilled Cheese, and Mac n' Cheese.

Since they had ribs and this was such a grown up restaurant, I decided not to get a item on the kids menu. Instead, I got a half rack of Baby Back Ribs. My dad also chose my sides which was sweet potato fries and macaroni and cheese. They also had other sides like Salad, Garlic Mashed Potatoes, and Coleslaw. We also got an appetizer, which was Onion Rings. They were pretty good. They were crunchy, and were the best onion rings I've ever had. It was a very short while before our food came, and when I saw the ribs, I couldn't wait to try it. The ribs were awesome! They were messy, juicy, and had BBQ sauce on it(because I asked for it). They also fell off easily, though they didn't have much meat between the bones. The sweet potato fries were also very good. They were both salty and sweet. I didn't try the mac n' cheese because I gave it to my sister, Olivia.

I give **** stars for food and *** stars for kid friendly. The reason I give 3 stars for kid friendly is because they didn't have any coloring pages, just papers ripped from a coloring book, and we had to ask for crayons. Well, that's all. Bye!

New Sonic in Rosedale

I went to a new Sonic in Rosedale for dinner one night. When we got there, it wasn't that crowded with cars. Since this was a Sonic, we parked and waited to order.

Once my mom explained the items, I decided what I wanted.Some of the items on the kids meal are the hot dog, grilled cheese, and the Jr.burger. I wanted the kids chicken tenders with a side of tater tots and a lemon-berry real fruit slushie, which was the exact same thing my brother got. My sister got a corn dog with tater tots and a lemon-berry real fruit slushie, and my mom got a chicken sandwich with a diet cherry limeade.

It took a really long time for our food to come, and it wasn't really worth it. Though there was a guy with roller skates that served our food, which is both different and cool. The chicken tenders were chewy and crunchy, but weren't juicy, though the tater tots were delicious! Plus, the slush had real lemons in it(that probably explains why it's called a real fruit slushie), which makes it a little more healthier than most slushies.

I give **** stars for food and ***** stars for kid friendly. the reason I give 5 stars for kid friendliness because they had 5 things on the menu, which is more than I usually see on kids menu's. Also, the kids meals come with a toy, and you don't have to get the appetizers and drink that I got. You can also get apples and french fries as a appetizer and other slushies, coke, sprite, and Dr.Pepper. Well, that's all. Bye!

Happy New Year! Sorry that I haven't been posting a lot but I have been really busy. I also just got over being sick after Christmas.

I went to Chazz in Baltimore for Christmas Eve with my family. When we got there, even though we didn't have a reservation, we got in, since we came before 7:00. When we got to our table, it was looking pretty good. It was really fancy, and they did have a kids meal(even though it was a small one).

On the menu they had pizzas like Burrata Pizza, Fungi Pizza, Broccoli Rabe Pizza and Veal Meatball Pizza. They also had appetizers and pasta. On the kids menu they only had three things which were Pepperoni Pizza, Cheese Pizza, and Pasta. I had the Cheese Pizza while my brother got the Pepperoni Pizza.

While we were waiting, we were munching on the Calamari we ordered. It was the best Calamari that I ever had.

It wasn't too long before our food came, and when I saw it, I thought it was beautiful. It was cooked perfectly with only a few burnt places on the crust. It was also cheesy and the burnt spots didn't make it worse, though I was missing the tomato flavor. The pizza that Owen, my brother, got didn't look like a regular Pepperoni Pizza, though. The pepperoni didn't look so good. It was reddish-brownish, not the regular red, and my brother said that it tasted funny(I don't like pepperoni, so I didn't try it). That was because it was dried salami, which is kind of what pepperoni is but not what you get at a regular pizza place. Besides that, everything was great.

I give **** stars for kid friendly and **** stars for food. I think lots of the items are very good, though most kids and some adults should look out for the pepperoni's strong flavor. Well, that's all. Bye!

Harry's Main Street

I went to a place called Harry's Main Street in Westminster, Maryland. When I got there, there were two doors. One went to the actual restaurant, but the other one went to the take-out section. We got seated and looked at the menu. I can't remember what was on the adult menu,but I do remember some of the choices for the kids menu. There were mozzarella sticks, pasta with marinara, and hot dogs. I ordered the pasta with marinara because I wanted to try it. Even though there was a kids menu, there was no entertainment, and it took a really long time preparing our food. When I got what I ordered, I found out that they didn't put the marinara or the powdered cheese(which I wasn't expecting) on the pasta, which also surprised me since almost all the restaurants I've gone to put the marinara on the pasta before they serve it. Also, I didn't like the pasta because the cup that was filled with marinara was short, and I only got it in the middle of the pasta. I agree with my dad. I don't think you should order the pasta if you eat here. I give *** stars for kid friendliness and ** stars for food. Pei Wei

I went to Pei Wei because my mom wasn't going to be home for dinner. I've been to Pei Wei many times, so I know that I like the food there.

When I got there, it was busier than usual, though we got seated quickly. On the menu at the counter, there were plenty of things like Dan Dan Noodles, Pad Thai, and Lo Mein. On the kids menu were Kids Lo Mein, Kids Teriyaki, and Kids Honey Seared. Owen, my brother, Olivia, my sister, and I all got the Kids Honey Seared while my dad got the combo of Spicy Beef with Thai Wanton Soup.

When we sat down, I immediately went for the chop sticks. Every time I go there, I use the chop sticks so that I can get better at it. It took a really long time for our food to come. Well, longer than usual. It took about 20 or 30 minutes until it came, though it was worth it!

My honey smeared noodles and chicken were fantastic! The chicken was sweet, chewy, and juicy! The noodles were also sweet, too. After I finished, we got fortune cookies. They too, were good.

I give **** stars for kid friendliness and ***** stars for food. The reason why I give 4 stars is because they only have 3 main courses for kids. Well, that's all. Bye!

German TV and The Steakhouse

A few weeks ago, I went to a place called The Steakhouse because there were some people from a German TV news show interviewing me. When I first got there, it kind of looked like a mini Morton's, only they had TVs. I also saw a light, though I couldn't make out what it was until I got seated. It was a arcade that I had seen! Though I tried to calm myself because I was on a hidden camera.

We took our seat and looked at the menu. There were lots of choices like fish & chips(served for lunch from 11:30 till 3pm), Steak Chesapeake, grilled salmon, and old fashioned cheeseburger as a main course and Crab dip,peel and eat shrimp,and finger lickin' wings as a appetizer. They also had a kids menu with normal choices like chicken fingers, grilled cheese, and hot dog. I got the sirloin tips with a side of Kraft macaroni & cheese and we got the BBQ chicken potato skins as a appetizer to share.

While I waited, my dad got a prize card from one of the staff and we played a racing game. When it was over the bread had already came. It was chewy and moist and, with the butter, sweet. Then followed the BBQ chicken potato skins. They were salty, juicy, and the BBQ sauce on it gave a huge punch.

Then the food came. While the macaroni and cheese was good since it was Kraft, the sirloin tips were awesome! They were juicy and very tender(though I made the foolish mistake of putting each one in my mouth whole). After that we went back to the arcade to get more tickets. Only then did I realize that the arcade was for kids and teenagers. There where games from the claw to a freaky zombie game(I can't remember the name). In the end I had gotten approximately 115 tickets, though since there was no one behind the prize counter, we decided to save up our card for the next time we came(my brother was not happy). I give ***** stars for kid friendliness and **** stars for food. Well, that's all. Bye!

World Of Crepes Cafe

I went to a crepe place for dinner. It was called "World Of Crepes Cafe" in Towson. Before going, me and my family checked out the menu on the computer. There were choices like roasted pepper crepe(on the meal crepe menu) and marshmallow explosion(on the dessert crepe menu).

Then me, my brother, Owen, and my dad all went out to pick-up our order and bring it home. I had gotten a pizza crepe, Owen a four cheese, mommy had a tomato and cheese(she shared it with my sister,Olivia), and my dad had a egg, bacon & cheese. My crepe was delicious! It was cheesy and the cheese was gooey. It tasted like pizza! The only complaint was that there was goat cheese in it and I didn't think that should be on pizza. I give it ***1/2 stars for food. For kid friendliness, I give it *** because it was a cafe and there weren't many places to sit.Well, that's all. Bye!

The Maryland State Fair 2011

I went to the Maryland State Fair with my grandma, papap, mommy, daddy, brother Owen, and sister Olivia. I know I've done a review of this before, though it is about a complaint, which comes in a little later.

When I got to the food stop, I decided to try some lamb. This is the first time I had lamb. They had lamb wraps and a lamb sandwich. I got a BBQ lamb sandwich, since I love BBQ, and one time I went to the State Fair and decided to get my sandwich without BBQ sauce and it tasted too dry. It was delicious! It was juicy and had a big BBQ flavor, though it was so big that I didn't taste any of the lamb. Luckily my papap got a lamb sandwich and said I could try a piece of his. It did taste like chicken, though it was too dry.

Then later for dessert, I got some ice cream. The lady which sold the tickets said a baby cone was about 2 or 3 inches, though my dad and papap said it would have a big amount of ice cream on top, though when I got it, it had two melon ball scoops. I had gotten the flavor of the day, which was Brooms Bloom dirt, but it just tasted like chocolate ice cream, when I thought it was going to have chocolate and brownie chunks in it. And they where selling them at $2.00! My grandma said that she got half a gallon of ice cream at the grocery store for the same price! I give *** stars for food and *** stars for kid friendly.

Here is my thoughts. They should rename the cone sizes. The smallest size should be diet, medium should be kids size, large should me medium, and they should make a large. And they need to change the prices. It should go up one dollar each, so diet should be $1.00, kids size should be two dollars, medium should be three dollars, and $4.00 for large. Well, that's all. Gino's

I went to the new Gino's in Towson. When I got there, there was a line, like all the other days they've been open. Though the other day we went and even though there wasn't a line, the girl outside said it was a 1 hour and 15 minute wait. My dad told me there wasn't a line because they kept it inside. When we got in, there was a huge TV showing fact's about Gino's history and people standing in line at the cash registers.When I saw the menu, there was no kids menu, though there were kid friendly things like a bacon cheeseburger and a cheeseburger. There was also other things like My Favorite Single Burger, My Favorite Double Burger, and Ameche's Power House. I had a Bacon Cheeseburger JR. because a regular is 2 burger's instead of one. And they even had Chicken like Chicken tenders( what my brother got) and salads like Cob. We also got some French Fries and Onion rings with our meal. We found a table outside, since it was so crowded inside. It took a long time, though when it came, it was worth the wait. When the server brought our food and saw kids she said "Oh they were KIDS meals" but another server said "We are out of kids meals" and a third person said "we don 't have kids meals". They seemed to be a little confused. But now let's go back to the food. The bacon cheeseburger tasted juicy, gooey, and meaty. What I call a fantastic bacon cheeseburger ( probably because I love bacon!)! And with a little vinegar, the french fries tasted delicious! My parents said the onion rings were greasy and looked like they weren't breaded(though I didn't try them). I give *** stars for kid friendly and **** stars for food. Also, there's one more thing I would like to tell you. Even though there sign says they have 1,000 flavors of milk shakes, this Gino's only has four. I found this out by my dad coming in and the person saying they only had four because they had just opened. Well, that's all. Bye!

Miguel's/1st anniversary post

I went to a place in Baltimore called Miguel's for my 1st anniversary post. It was kind of a hidden restaurant because it was at the side of a hotel. When I got in, I saw skeleton's everywhere! I also saw that there was a bar and a jar of fire balls. My mom told me those were for after you ate. And I even saw the Best of Baltimore magazine which I was in. And guess what. They were in it too! When I got seated, I realized that some signs were in Spanish. I looked at the menu and realized that the menu was in Spanish too! The only things that I could read were empanadas and quesadillas! There was no kids menu either. I got a carne asada (steak) empanada and a cheese and chicken quesadilla to share with my brother. While I was waiting, they served chips that were crunchy, which had a spicy salsa which my brother liked. We ordered calamari which was chewy and it came with a creamy sauce instead of a tomato sauce. When it came, there was a squiggle of sour cream on the plate of the quesadilla. It was delicious! The empanada was spicy, meaty, and juicy. The quesadilla was gooey and juicy. I give ***** stars for food and *** stars for kid friendliness. I WAS going to give 2 stars for kid friendly, because of the skeletons. Then I learned that skeletons were a happy decoration during Día de los Muertos in Mexico. The skeletons weren't really that scary anyway. Well, that's all. Bye!

Bobby's Burger Palace

I went to a place called Bobby's Burger Palace In New Jersey. It was special because there was only 2 in New Jersey and 6 in the United States. I was lucky to go there because I was on a vacation with my Cousin Renee.

When I got there, there was a huge menu which had items on it like Miami Burger, Santa Fe Burger, and Napa Valley Burger. Though there was only one choice on the kids menu, and that was the Kids BBP Burger Deal. Though you could get grilled cheese if you asked. There was also some kind of burger which you could get potato chips on it. I got the Kids BBP Burger Deal. When the food came, they got my mom's and cousin's food mixed up. And they made the onion rings and fries a little bit dark. The burger was huge, though the cheese wasn't very gooey and at one point of the burger it tasted like ham. Though it was tender.

Things could have gone better if Bobby Flay was there. But he has too many restaurants to go to.

The Mason Dixon Restaurant

On Thursday I went to a place called The Mason Dixon in Shrewsbury, Pennsylvania. I have been there before with my Grandma and Pappap but I haven't reviewed it until now. When I got there, I saw a lot of old-fashioned signs in the waiting area. They had funny sayings on them. A person showed us to our seats and gave us menus. There are placemats that if you are a kid and have a pen or pencil, you can draw on the back of it. They also offer crayons.

Now I'll talk about the kids menu. They have about 10-12 things on the kid menu like spaghetti and meatballs, fish sticks, and hotdogs. I had macaroni and cheese with mashed potatoes and beef gravy. When I got my food, I first tried my macaroni and cheese, which was layered in cheese. It tasted delicious! The potatoes with gravy wasn't what I expected, but it was better without gravy. Now back to the macaroni and cheese. It was very cheesy, and the side platter also came with an orange slice.

There is one more thing I forgot to talk about. At the cash register, there were candies which you could buy after your meal.

The Abby Burger Bistro

I went to a place called The Abby Burger Bistro. When I walked in, I saw that it was a bar and the first thing I smelled was beer. I then realized that at the back were four tables. And I saw wide screen TVs in front of every table.

When we sat down, the waitress poured all of us a glass of water, and then left. When I looked at the menu, I was pretty surprised. They had stuff like alligator bites and waffle fry nachos. They also had some meats which I've never tasted like ostrich, elk, bison, and kangaroo. They also had a kids meal with foods like mac'n'cheese and kids sliders, though I heard that there burgers where good,so I wanted to have one. Another problem was that there was only four choices on the kids menu! But there was also activity's like mazes and a treasure hunt on the menu.

If you don't order from the kids menu, you can always build-a-burger. You get a checklist and you check off the meat, cheeses and other things that you want. There were two meats of the month and they were duck and kangaroo. Since I never tried kangaroo before, I decided to have it. I also had gran queso (a type of cheese) and BBQ sauce.

When I got my burger, it had a olive on a stick and homemade chips. Since I don't like olives, I gave that to my mom. My first bite of the burger was delicious! The BBQ sauce had lots of flavor, though I couldn't taste the cheese and the kangaroo meat had a seafood type of taste. The chips were crunchy and salty which made them taste fantastic. I give food ***1/2 stars for food and **1/2 stars for kid friendly. Well, that's all. Bye!

Haute Dog Cart

On Wednesday I went to a place Called the Haute Dog Carte, which is a hotdog cart that doesn't move. When I got there, there was a short line at their little tent. There was a little choice, and there were only two hot dogs which would be kid friendly! They where HD signature and Chef Dogs! Though the hot dogs were huge, so it is a adult place.I was really interested in how they prepared the bun. First, they take out a hotdog roll. Next, they put it on this thing which splits them in half. Last, they take it of and comes out toasted! I got a chef dog, which was Smokey Mountain sausage. I got it with BBQ sauce and bacon marmalade. It was delicious! There was also a lot of bun. It was so big I had to take half of it home! The marmalade made it much better. Though there wasn't a lot of BBQ sauce. The bun was very soft, and because of the marmalade I didn't taste much of the smoked sausage. I give *** stars for kid friendly and *** stars for food. Well, that's all.Bye!

Elijah – Tudo começou enquanto estava de férias no Canadá. Estava pensando em o que eu gostaria de ser quando crescer.Queria um trabalho que incluísse comida ea primeira coisa que surgiu na minha cabeça foi um crítico gastronômico. Então eu contei para a minha mãe que queria ser um crítico quando crescesse e ela disse que eu precisava primeiro de um blog.
It all began while vacationing in Canada. I was thinking about what I want to be when you grow up. I wanted a job that included food and the first thing that popped into my head was a food critic. So I told my mother he wanted to be a critic when I grew up and she said I first needed a blog.

I create my posts by making the critical order of the menu. And I add some memories of the trip. I do not always plan the restaurants I go. My father and my mother helped me to choose them.

Towson Farmers Market

On Thursday after Vacation Bible School at church I went to the Towson farmers market with my dad, my brother, Owen, and my sister Olivia, to get some groceries. The farmers market has vegetables like carrots and candy apple onion, and fruits like blueberries and sweet cherries.

We also hadn't had lunch, so my dad suggested we go to the Empanada stand. They also have a restaurant version called Max's Empanadas.

While we where going there, we saw the stand which has a truck version of it. It was Dangerously Delicious! Though my dad said we would get the pies they had after lunch.

When we got to the stand, I saw Empanadas. An Empanada looked like a small pie with different types of fillings. They had Ham and cheese and chicken Empanadas. We all had the Chorizo Empanada, which is sausage, sun dried tomato, walnut, and mozzarella. Since there were no tables or chairs, we went inside a store, Ridgely and Ferrens Markeplace, where you can eat in. We also didn't have a drink, so we got a special type of root beer from the store called Dominion, which was sweetened with honey instead of sweetener, which is what most root beer is sweetened with. The root beer was great! It tasted a lot like Virgil's, which is another brand of root beer. The empanada was also delicious! It tasted a lot like pizza, my favorite food. I give ***** stars for food.

I'm not doing kid friendliness because the food didn't come from a restaurant. I have one more thing to say. By the time we got back to the Dangerously Delicious, they didn't have what we wanted! Well, that's all. Bye!

S'ghetti Eddie's

I went to S'ghetti Eddie's because I was being interviewed and they wanted to get my picture at a restaurant. We tried to go to a place called Hightopps, but they said we couldn't take pictures there, so my mom came up with S'ghetti Eddie's.

When we got there, I saw that there was a pinball machine. We sat down and ordered are food. Other than spaghetti, they have pizza such as Colors of Italy, Chicken Parmesan, and Meateater, hoagies (hoagies are subs), hamburgers and beef hot dogs. The kids meal wasn't on the kids menu. Instead, it was on something called Just a nibble, which has other foods on it like mozzarella sticks with marinara sauce and soup of the day. That is a bad thing because people would get confused and think there isn't a kids menu. And they only had three choices on the kids menu! I had a kids spaghetti and meatball. We also ordered mozzarella sticks.

While I was deciding, my dad and brother were testing the pinball machines. And guess what. They didn't work! But just then the food came out. My food was huge! The spaghetti even came with garlic bread. The spaghetti was delicious, there was lots of tomato sauce, and the meatball was juicy. Though it was too juicy, so it was too soft and it fell apart. There was so much of it, I decided to pack it up so I could save room for dessert.

I had a cannoli for dessert. They also have ice cream and snowballs. When I got the cannoli, I knew it was going to be good. There was a chocolate pattern on it and the plate, and chocolate chips were everywhere! It was better than it looked. It was creamy, crunchy, and chocolatey. I ate every bite with joy!

I give **** stars for food and *** stars for kid friendly. Well, that's all. Bye!

Wegmans

Last weekend I went to Wegmans in Hunt Valley. We went there for two reasons. One was that we had to get food, and the second was because we hadn't had lunch yet.

When we got in, we went to the buffet table and got a plate. There was tons of food like chicken fingers and chicken wings, salad, fruits like strawberries, and Chinese and Indian food. I got mashed potatoes and grapes. Wegmans also has pizza, subs, and sushi. I also got cheese pizza.

Wegmans has a new drink machine where you can get cool selections of soda like cherry vanilla coke and diet raspberry coke. I had orange coke to drink.

When we got to the table, I realized that Wegmans pizza was huge! Though it was delicious! The cheese was gooey, the tomato sauce wasn't chunky, but the crust was hard and crunchy, not soft and chewy. I made the mistake of getting two pizzas instead of one, so I had to pack it up and take it home. And for the mashed potatoes and grapes,my brother, Owen, and sister, Olivia, ate it up. I give **** stars for food. I'm not doing kid friendly because technically, it wasn't a restaurant. Well, that's all. Bye!

California Pizza Kitchen

I went to California Pizza Kitchen in Hunt Valley because I had a coupon for a free kid's meal for my birthday.When we came in,it was very crowded,and the hostess said it would be 20 minutes in till there would be a open table.While we waited,we looked at the menu outside,but it was sinking in the case,so we couldn't see all of the kid's menu.Then we waited inside some more in till our table was called.When we were seated they gave me a kid's menu,wrote down what we wanted to drink,and left.When I saw the menu,there where Pizzas like Mushroom Pepperoni Sausage,Chicken like Crispy Chicken,Pasta and Salad like Buttered Fusilli and CPK salad,and Desserts like Fresh Fruit and ice cream.There were plenty of activity's on the kid's menu.When I got my food,I stared at the mouth watering Original BBQ Chicken pizza.It tasted better then it looked!My favorite part of it was the BBQ sauce.It went great with the pizza!When I was done the waitress asked what I wanted for dessert and I said I wanted the M&M's Sundae.When I got it,it was like a miniature version of the Morton's Legendary Hot Fudge Sundae,only with M&M's.It was delicious!When I was done,I was stuffed and happy.I give ***** star's for food and **** star's for kid friendly.Well,that's all.Bye!

Morton's The Steakhouse

A few weeks ago some news people came to see me.My mom said the plan was to go to Morton's after they did some filming at my house.My mom drove me and a camera person to Morton's and she was even interviewing me in the car!When we got to Morton's they had me get out of the car and in the car a couple of times and they did a video of me walking in the restaurant and greeting the manager.Morton's is a fancy restaurant because people wear bow ties and fancy chef hats.Then the manager walked us to our table.We sat down at our table and the manager asked if I wanted a dark napkin and I though he said nebulla.I didn't know what that was!But he brought me a black napkin anyway and he also got me a water and a coke.The waiter came over and introduced us to the menu.The news people had me stand beside the lobster.I stood there for a few minutes staring at it and then I realized it was alive!I whispered to my mom"Mommy,the lobster is alive!".After that we ordered our food.I asked for a kid friendly menu and there were cheeseburgers, chicken fingers but they had a different name, and some other foods.I got a cheeseburger and said I wanted American cheese and bacon since you can ask for anything you want and it came with french fries.While we were waiting for our food some waiters would come over to our table and refill our drinks.Then our food came.The burger was humongous!Since the burger was hot I ate the french fries first(I think I kind of over did it with the french french fries).Since the burger was so big my mom cut into pieces for me.It tasted delicious.The meat was juicy, the cheese was gooey and the bacon was crunchy.But I couldn't finish it because it was so big and my mom wanted me to save room for dessert.Before the dessert came out I got to meet the chef and he was very nice.Then the dessert came out and when I say humongous,I say HUMUNGOUS!I got the Morton's Legendary Hot Fudge Sundae.It was so big that my mom said that we could share it.For all you sweet tooth fans you would love this!All the top was whipped cream and most of the bottom was hot fudge.I barely got any ice cream!Since the cheeseburger was so big this didn't really help me either.I barely had eaten any when I got full.Since we couldn't package it they would have to throw it away.I give ***** stars for food and *1/2stars for kid friendly.I was going to give kid friendly ** stars but when I got home I felt sick from eating too much.If you want to have your child go out to Morton's make sure his stomach is completely empty so he can eat every bite of his food.And make sure that he doesn't eat all of the humongous Morton's Legendary Hot Fudge Sundae they don't get a humongous stomach ache!Well,that's all.Bye!

Max's Dog House

Last week I went to Max's Dog House in New Freedom,Pennsylvania with my Grandma and my 6 year old brother,Owen.When we got in,there where instrument's on a short stage.My Grandma said that people play there at night.Then we ordered food and sat down.I asked the waitress where was Max,the owner's dog.She said Max was taking a walk.Then I asked if I had permission to go to the play area,and she said yes.There was a computer,TV,and even a Play Station 3!I don't have a Play Station of any sort,so I asked for help.A teenage boy tried to help,but it was confusing.Just then the owner's son came in and helped us.But then there was another problem.On Guitar Hero 5,somebody had messed up the game,so we couldn't play anyways. But then Grandma said that our food was here.And speaking of food,did I forget the menu at the top?I think I did,so here's the menu.There are Hot Dogs named The Maximus,Polock Jockey,Italian sausage,Jamaican Bacon,Cardiac Pig,Ball Park,Nathan's Beef.There's more,but it's so long it would make you really bored at the end(to see the rest,click on the linked website on this blog post.).I had a Jamaican Bacon with French Fries, Churros and Fried Oreos.When I tried my hot dog it was too spicy,so I ordered another hot dog,the Ball Park.When I got it,I tried a bite.It was delicious!It tasted like the hot dogs that you get at Ball Games.And the desserts where fantastic!The Fried Oreos where better than when there not fried,and the Churros where a sugary sensation!I give **** star's for food and ***** stars for kid friendly.Well,that's all.Bye!

New The Greene Turtle

A few weeks ago I went to the Green Turtle in Hunt Valley.The restaurant had just opened.When we got to it,it had a television outside showing a baseball game.When I got inside,it was like TV heaven!Everywhere I looked,there where TV's!When we got seated there was a tiny TV on the right of us and the controls on my side.I changed it to nickelodeon.A little while later they gave us the kid's menu.It had fun activity's on it for children.They had food like Turtle Tenders and Cheese Pizza.I had the Two Mini Cheeseburgers.When they got them,I realized they had pickles.Since I hate pickles,my mom took them off.Then I started to eat.It was delicious!The only problem was that there was no juiciness to the meat and no gooeness to the cheese(I made up gooeness.If you know how to spell it,say it in a comment).For this,I give *** stars for food and ***** stars for kid friendly.Well,that's all.Bye!

The Bel-loc Diner

On Friday I went to to the Bel-loc Diner with my dad,my brother,Owen,and my sister Olivia.When we got there,there was a waitress who greeted us.When we where seated,she gave us our menu and left.There was a kids menu,but my dad told me it was for kids under 10,and I'm now ten years old.So I had chocolate chip hot cakes off of the adult menu with bacon and chocolate milk.While I was waiting,we played some songs on the jukebox.Then the food came.My hot cakes where delicious,a chocolaty delight!There was so much of it,I had to put it in a box!I give ***** stars for kid friendly and ***** stars for food.Well,that's all.Bye!

Ann's Dari-Creme

On May 6,I went to Ann's Dari-Creme on our way back from the airport in Maryland,Baltimore.The place is small,and you can't really eat inside.Though there where picnic table's outside.I had a cheese steak sandwich with a chocolate-cherry milkshake.It was delicious!The cheese was gooey,the steak was juicy,and the milkshake was a mixed delight!There was no kid's menu,and the only kid friendly food was hot dog's!They also had subs and sandwiches like hamburger, cheeseburger and steak, french fries and ice cream.They even have a double dog which is two footlong hot dog's on a roll.I give *** 1/2 stars for kid friendly and **** stars for food.Well,that's all.Bye!

On April 29 I went to Firehouse Subs.This one was in Orlando,Florida it is a chain, like Subway but there are none near our house.The inside was like an actual firehouse!They had a kids meal with all kinds of sandwiches and subs like Hot turkey & provolone and Hot Meatball.Also,they had the Royal Wedding on TV,so I had some entertainment while I was waiting.I had the Hot Meatball with a small coke zero and Oreo cookies.Since I had a kid's meal,I got a fire hat.The food was delicious!Even though the sub was small,it sure was filling!I give **** stars for kid friendly and **** stars for food.Well,that's all.Bye!

Breakfeast At Chef Mickeys At Disneys Contemporary Resort

On May 2 I went to Chef Mickeys.It was at Disneys Contemporary Resort,in Orlando,Florida.I was in Florida because my dad had to shoot a wedding there.Anyways,we had made a reservation there,but it was still crowded.So we went to a near by arcade.After a little while,our table was ready.We sat down and went to the buffet.I got a Mickey waffle,a pancake,french toast casserole,bacon,a cinnamon bun,and a bagel.But here's what I didn't now.They brought out birthday cupcakes for Owen and me!It had a little chocolate Mickey on it which I ate in one bite.After we blew out the candles,Mickey,Minnie,Donald,Goofy,and Pluto came out to great us.We where so exited!Everyone of the Disney characters came over to get there picture taken with us.And my little sister cried for all of them,especially for Donald.Anyways,back to the interview.It was delicious!I ate every bite of it(well,I would've if hadn't become full!)!I give ***** stars for food and definitely ***** stars for kid friendly.Well,that's all.Bye!

Last night I went to DuClaw in Bel Air with my dad for dinner*.It was crowded!It also smelled like beer.Though the place was big,so there was no line.Even though they mostly serve beer,but they do have a kid's menu.They have a great selection of items such as grilled cheese and dino nuggets.I had ribs with tumble weed fries and Hank's root beer(the best around).It was delicious!The tumble weed fries where great.They tasted like regular french fries only smaller and they were really crispy.The ribs I loved.They were juicy and the bbq sauce tasted sweet.The root beer was like heaven.I also had a dessert slider,which was vanilla cake,chocolate chip brownie,cherry mascarpone,homemade yellow whipped cream,green coconut,all on two sesame seed cookies.It tasted good,but it kept falling apart.The waitress,Hillary,was very nice.I give ***** stars for food and ***** stars for kid friendly.Well,that's all.Bye!

Today for my dad's birthday I went to Clementine.And guess what?The owner is a follower on my blog!At first I saw no kid friendliness,just a crowded bar.But when I went into the other room(which I didn't see),I changed my mind.In there was a play area,and the menu had plenty of kid friendly choices,like macaroni & cheese(weird looking macaroni & cheese) and peanut butter & jelly.I had the french toast casserole.And guess what?It had whipped cream on top(not to mention the sugar on the plate!)!It was delicious!It was soggy(the good type of soggy[It was soggy from the maple syrup,which is also good]),crunchy goodness!I give **** 1/2 stars for kid friendly and ***** stars for food.Well,that's all.Bye!

Grilled Cheese Cook-Off

On Sunday I went to Mt.Washington Tavern's Grilled Cheese Cook-Off(though you probably already knew that).When I got there they where still setting up,so I had to wait a little while.When they where ready,the judges and me where lead upstairs to our seats.They had them reserved so nobody would eat at the table.There where three categories,presentation,food(it wasn't called taste,and score.The first was a bacon grilled cheese with sauce under neath it.I gave it a 6 for presentation and a 4 for taste.Another grilled cheese I remember was a soup in a sandwich.It came with a little bath toy on the the sandwich(to bad I accidentally left it there!).I gave a 4 for presentation and a 8 for food.There's a grilled cheese which came with chips,tomato mouse,and a little dessert sandwich.If I where judging kid friendly,I'd give that grilled cheese a 10!Though the one I liked most was a fruit salad sandwich grilled cheese.It had honey mustard,nuts,and apples on it.I gave a 7 for presentation and a 8 for taste.Even though she didn't win,I still had a great time.Well,that's all.Bye!

Yesterday I went to Mt.Washington Tavern for a interview with the Channel Eleven News!They asked me question's like "Why did you create your blog?",and I answered "On a vacation I told my mom 'When I grow up,I want to be a food critic' and my mom said 'But first you need a blog' she said." Pizza John's

Last night I went to Pizza John's at 113 River Neck Road Essex MD,21221.The night I went was busy!There wasn't a line(because the place was so huge!),but lot's of people where there.I had a bacon pizza and a coke.They also have pineapple,pepperoncini,mushrooms,and vegetarian.They also had beverages such as sierra mist,pink lemonade,and root beer.They had lots of desserts(and when I mean desserts I mean cheesecake!)such as homemade cannoli,black bottom cupcake,and milkshake.Though there are poor choices on the kid's menu.That is because macaroni and cheese is the only choice.Though they do have a lot of subs.I give ****1/2 stars for food and * star for kid friendly.Well,that's all.Bye!

Tutti Frutti Frozen Yogurt

I went to Tutti Fruit's Frozen Yogurt.Frozen Yogurt is like ice cream only it is made with yogurt.I had chocolate mixed with vanilla with the toppings Mike Iks and butterscotch chips.It was delicious!(to bad it melted when I came home).And before you paid,you choose your flavor!And they have a lout of flavors and toppings such as cone's,gummy bear's,and even cereal!They also had frozen yogurt flavors such as mango,strawberry,and orange.And they charged for the weight,not the flavor or toppings.They charge 45 cents per ounce.They just opened in December but we didn't know that.I give ***** star's for food and ***** stars for kid friendly.I really suggest you to go there one day.And there's never a line even when it is busy!Well,that's all.Bye!

St. Leo's Ravioli and Spaghetti Dinner

Today I went to Little Italy for a event which only comes twice a year.In other words,I went to St.Leo's,a church which is found in Little Italy.They where having a feast with two of Italy's favorite foods,spaghetti and ravioli.The food was awesome!The only problem was there was a huge line.It took 45 minutes to get a table!But it was worth it.I had a kids spaghetti with a meatball.I was the first one done!It was home made,too!It cost $10 for adults and $5 for children and came with a salad and bread.I didn't eat the salad even though my mom said that it was good.I give ***** stars for food.Well,that's all.Bye!

Cici's Pizza

On Sunday I went to Cici's Pizza-Rea.I see the commercials on TV all the time.It was awesome!You could choose your pizza without the wait!There's even a small arcade for the kids!I had 2 slices of cheese pizza,two cheese sticks,the new dessert pizza,and cinnamon rolls.It was delicious!My favorite food was the dessert pizza.It had icing and delicious Bavarian cream.They also had brownies as well.And a movie on.I give ***** stars for food and***** stars for kid friendly.Well,that's all.Bye!

For Valentine's Day on Monday we went to the Towson Diner with my mom since my dad had to work.I had the kid's menu pancakes.They where delicious!I could taste the vanilla(which is a good thing)and it went great with syrup and butter.They where also Mickey Mouse shaped,too.They where pretty kid friendly.I had hot chocolate to drink.They had a kid's menu.They also had candy and desserts that kid's would love.The only bad thing was that I was still hungry after I ate my pancake.I give food ***** stars and kid friendly ***** stars.Well,that's all.Bye!

E-mail Interview with a Food Scientist

I thought I wanted to be a food critic when I grow up.But my mom thought I should think about other things that I could do since I want to make a lot of money when I grow up.

My mom helped me e-mail Mr. Larry Tong who works as a food scientist at McCormick & Co.I started out by writing a couple of questions,then typing them in a e-mail.Then Mr. Larry sent a e-mail back which answered my questions.He also sent me a picture of his office.

I think his job is awesome and will definitely be a food scientist when I grow up even if I have to go to two colleges.I might still be a food critic too.

Here is my interview:

Q: What's your full name?
A: Larry Tong

Q: How old are you?
A: 35

Q: Where do you work?
A: McCormick & Company

Q: What is your job title?
A: Senior Food Technologist

Q: Where did you go to school and how long were you in school?
A: I have a Bachelor of Science Degree in Food Science from the University of Delaware and a Master of Science Degree from the University of Massachusetts. After high school, I was at Delaware for 4 years, then 2 years at Massachusetts. All 6 years were really fun, while I learned lots of stuff that I use in my job.

Q:What is a typical day at your work?
A: My job is to create new products for McCormick. These products include the bottles of spices and seasonings that you see on the grocery shelf, the pouches of mixes (like Taco Seasoning), and bottles of wet sauces. One product that I created last year was a Grill Mates Fiery Five Pepper Seasoning. It is just coming to all the grocery stores right now. Lots of people really like hot and spicy foods right now, and we didn't have a seasoning like that. So I was asked to make one. I looked at lots of recipes in cook books and on the internet for ideas. Then I typed up a formula on the computer, gathered the ingredients, and blended the ingredients. Then I got some chicken from the store, sprinkled on the seasoning, and cooked it. I ate it with some coworkers, but it was terrible. Too salty, not sweet enough, and way too spicy (even for a spicy seasoning). I kept at it for about 5 more times until I got it right. I recommend trying to do something like this for yourself at home. Maybe try to design a completely awesome and new chocolate chip cookie recipe? Its a fun experiment to try different amounts of the ingredients to see what makes the cookies better.

Q: How long is your shift?
A: 8 hours a day, typically. It goes very fast.

Q: Do you get to eat the food experiments at your work?
A: Yes. One of the important parts of my job is to make sure the products I create taste good. If they don't taste good, no one would buy them.

Q: What kinds of food do you make at your work?
A: Right now I'm working on a new Meat loaf mix, which really isn't one of my favorites. I do lots of things that season chicken, steak, and seafood. Sometime veggies, gravies, pasta sauces, and rice. I used to work for the part of McCormick that sells seasonings to snack companies, like BBQ Potato Chips.

Q: How much do you get paid at your job?
A: When someone new starts in a job like mine they typically make around $45-50,000. As they get more seasoned (pun intended), their salary will grow and they can make up to around $120,000.

Q: Is there anything else that you think is important to know about your job?
A: It is very important in my job to understand what people want to eat. Like what you do on your blog, it is important for me to try new restaurants and different things, even if they aren't something that I would have picked myself. I've learned that it is fun to try new types of food and appreciate all the work it takes people to make it.

Pizza Hut's Stuffed Crust Pizza

On Friday my dad got us pizza from Pizza Hut.At first I didn't know it was a stuffed crust,but when I got to it,my thought's where yum.I asked daddy what the type of pizza it was,and he told me it was the stuffed crust pizza.I had two slices of pizza and I wished I had more,but there wasn't anymore pizza.The pizza was good,but the crust was fabulous!All I really wanted was the crust.But still,the pizza was good,too.I give the pizza ***** stars.Well,that's all.Bye.

Liberatore's Perry Hall

On Christmas Eve my family went to Liberatore's.We had a reservation,but it took so long!And there was two people who came in after us without a reservation,and they where seated immediately while we where still waiting!And then when we got seated(finally)Olivia started crying!They did have a kid's menu though.I got pizza and Owen had the butter noodles.The pizza was so good!It took long,but I didn't care!And I know why it tasted so good,too.There was a old fashioned stove which you put bread in which meant that they made there pizza homemade!But just then Santa Claus came.Everyone in my family knows Olivia's fear of Santa Claus.So of course,she cried.She cried in till Santa Claus went out the door.But besides Olivia's crying,everything was fine.Now its time for the stars!For food I'll give it ***** stars.For kid friendly I'll give it ***1/2 stars.Well,that's all for today.Bye.

Richardson Farms

Today I went to Richardson Farms for lunch(we also got our Christmas tree there,too).It was also a grocery store.I had a half of a pork,cheddar pot pie with onions.It was big,but delicious!The pork was kind of tough,though.But everything else was fine.I also had a delicious birch beer and all of the other foods were fresh!My brother and sister had macaroni and cheese witch was the most kid friendly and my mom had a turkey sandwich.There were free samples of corn bread,too.I give it ****1/2 stars for food.I'm not going to do kid friendly because its supposed to be a grocery store,not a restaurant.There weren't really many places to sit but we found a table with the Christmas trees.Well,that's all.Bye.

Yesterday I went to Texas Roadhouse for dinner with my grandma, papap, Owen and Olivia in York, Pennsylvania.I had a ranger meal sirloin steak meal.Boy,was it tasty!It was juicy and delicious.But I was too sleepy to eat it at the restaurant.And when I was in my grandma's car,I was hungry!So I ate it at my grandma's house.I give ***** stars for food.Now it is time for kid friendly.They had kids meals including ranger meals for bigger kids but there weren't a lout of choices.The restaurant wasn't very kid friendly either.There were a lout of peanuts on the floor and somebody could trip on them.But there was a very nice waitress called Coulny.I give ***1/2 stars for kid friendly.Well,that's all. Thanksgiving Dinner

Last night I went to my grandpa's house for Thanksgiving dinner.There where appetizers such as olives,cheese,peperoni,and over foods.I give the appetizers ** stars for kid friendly.This is because most children wouldn't like the olives and I don't have any interest in the peperoni.The first and second courses where butternut squash soup and salad.The butternut squash soup was delicious,but almost all of my family isn't a salad fan.I give *** stars for kid friendly.Then the third course and dessert was turkey,mashed sweet potatoes,a baked potato,stuffing,grapes,apple pie,and pumpkin pie.The stuffing was to spicy,and the mashed sweet potatoes had onions,witch I don't like.I give *** stars for kid friendly.I set up doing this review by adding up the kid friendly stars and doing that for my food stars.And if I was on a scale of 1-10,I'd give ******** stars for food.Well,that's all.Bye!

Noodles & Company and a Milkshake

Guess what.I got the Z,Burger milkshake!But before I get started on that,I need to get started on this.On Tuesday I went to Noodles&Company.I got some macaroni and cheese.Boy was it good!It was so cheesy,I thought I was in a cheese wonderland!The noodles didn't taste like anything,witch I'll have to take a point or two off.I'll give ****1/2 stars for food.The kid friendly was AWFUL!There was no kid's meal,barely any kid friendly foods,not even a play room(witch would've helped )!I give ** stars for kid friendly.Now,drum roll please,my interview for Z,Burger's milkshake!It was absolutely fabulous,delicious,and much more great words!I had the special milkshake,or milkshake of the day,witch was mix any two milkshakes.I had mud pie mixed with caramel.It was awesome!It had rough chocolate pieces and a smooth caramel taste.As I always say,rough and smooth make the cake!I give it ***** stars.Well,that's all.Have a happy Thanksgiving!

Chicken Corn Quesadilla with Cumin Cream

Tonight I didn't go to a restaurant or hotel,but finally I've interviewed my dad's cooking!That's right folks!For generations I've done food from restaurants week after week,but I now have made a new creation!The viewers wanted me to do a interview of my my dad's cooking.I was afraid to not do it,for I thought I'd lose them.So my dad made a Mexican dish witch he called :Chicken Quesadilla with Cumin Cream(including corn and squash).He used spices such as garlic,ground pepper,and other spices.It was toasted to perfection.The cream was sensational,and all the rest was great!The meat was juicy enough,and only one mistake(witch was only a toaster mistake)!I give my dad's cooking ***** stars(no kid friendly because not a restaurant)!Well,it's getting late.Bye!

Last night I went to McDonalds and got A McRib.It was awsome!But I think it would be even better with mozzerela cheese.I got a medium Coke with it(wich made it even better).I loved the BBQ sauce,but it wasn't juicy enough(because I love juicy meat).I give that food **** 1/2 stars.Oh,and *** stars for kid friendly(because it comes with onions and pickles,wich I hate).Well,thats all.Don't forget to vote for me for the Baltimore Sun Mobbies Awards!

I am sorry that I have been posting but 4th grade is a lot of work.

On Sunday I went to Z'Burger for dinner.It was just like a Five Guy's,only that they had better food and even kid's meals.Witch reminds me, the food was Great!I got a kid's meal with a cheese burger with bacon and it was great!I didn't even mind the sesame seeds!(witch I usually hate.)It came with french fries and they were good but they were not as greasy as I like them.They also have 75 milkshakes,but that's for another time.I was way too full for a milkshake.I give ***** stars for food.Now for kid friendly.They had these tray car's witch came with every kid's menu.They also had some milkshakes like banana oreo or marshmallow that I think kids would like.I give kid friendly ***** stars.I think that I like Z'Burger more than Five Guys.Well,that's all.Hope you like my post!

Cheezys Pizza and Chicken Out

This week was a busy week!I had food from two different restaurant's.First,I went to Cheezys Pizza and got some bacon pizza to take home on Wednesday before Cub Scouts.Boy it was delicious!The pizza was baked to perfection!And the crust was so puffy I had to have it.I give **** star's for food.

I also had Chicken Out.It wasn't such a success.The chicken was kind of good.The sweet mashed potatoes wasn't my favorite ever.The rest to me was YUCK!I give * 1/2 star's for food.Well,that's all.Bye.

Today I went to Cracker Barrel to see my Uncle Mike who is in the Army before he goes to Afganistan.Boy the food was good and it was very kid friendly.They had a kid's meal,check!They had something to do like checkers and a peg game at the table,check!But they had no toys with a kid's meal.No mater.It's a old country restaurant, so there's no need.But they do have a place where you can by toys.I give kid friendly **** star's.Now for food.I ordered two pancakes and bacon.But they got mixed up and gave me my brother's order by mistake.But they corrected it and I ate almost all of it. Red Robin's Spicy Honey Glazed Bacon Burger

Guess what,I went to Red Robin and got the new Spicy Honey Glazed Bacon Burger on Tuesday night*.It was so good.It's creamy honey-cayenne mayo and crunchy apple wood bacon with the Havarti cheese is something you'd probably do anything to get.And the sweet'n'spicy honey glaze makes me love lemonade(my favorite drink.),the sweet collides so good with the sour - its really good and a 10 year old even created it!I didn't want to put it down!But hurry since its only available for sale until Sunday, September 12!And just a reminder for other kids that you also have until Sunday to enter the Red Robin Kids' Cook-Off contest!I better get cooking!Well,that's all.Bye!

On Wednesday I was stuck with my mom because school was closed.I had to go to an event at Morton's Steakhouse with my mom.But I wanted to go there anyways.I had never been to a fancy steakhouse before.I thought I'd like the new salmon pizza and the blue cheese on steak,but I didn't.I also missed getting a piece of the steak's.But my mom got me their chicken finger's,witch was good.And also the cheesecake and the hot chocolate cake where delicious!I give***** star's for food.Well,got to go.Bye.

Last night I went to the Maryland State Fair with my mom,dad,brother,and sister.When we got in it smelled like cow p-o-o-p.PE YOU!!!!IT smelled stinky!But it only lasted a second.There was bad service there.We had arm strap's,and two ticket booth's didn't now what to do with them.But it was worth the wait.The food place was all like teenager style.Not for kid's 12/under.I give ***1/2 star's for kid friendly.Now for food.I had a pit beef sandwich,and I got to tell ya,it was GOOD!And the icee witch I had for a drink was good to.I give food **** star's.Well it's late.Bye

New Chick-fil-A

Wednesday my mom,dad,brother and sister went to the new Chick-fil-A in Hunt Valley.It just opened on August 12 and it's just like the one on Joppa Road near my house,only that it has free wi-fi,and a different play land.Chick-fil-A is one of my favorite restaurants to eat at.

It's time for kid friendly.As I said before,they have a play land,a kid's menu,they have a kid's toy,and they have a cow every once in a while.I give kid friendly ***** star's.

Now for food.I had my usual meal,a plain chicken sandwich.And it's GOOD.They also have delicious shakes and rich,creamy ice cream.It just makes my mouth water just thinking about it.I give****1/2 star's for food.Well,got to go.Bye.

On Monday I was with my grandma ,papap,and Owen. We were trying to figure out what to do for dinner, and my grandma suggested Applebees on Joppa Rd. It was A bar, but a family friendly bar. When we came in, it wasn't that noisy, had television, and had a kid's menu.The waitress,named Chrisy,was very nice too. And it looked like some kid's where enjoying the wait. I give ***** star's for kid friendly. Now for food. It was delicious! I had chicken tenders again, but it tasted different! And the dessert was fabulous! My brother and I shared a triple chocolate meltdown. It was a chocolate cake with white and dark chocolate with super hot fudge inside,wait a side of vanilla ice cream, and the finishing touch, a chocolaty pattern. I give ***** star's for food. Last night I went to C.R Wings. When I came in,the atmosphere was really smokey and it was very noisy. When we went past the kitchen to find seats,the atmosphere was really smokey,such as the air was thick. But they had a kid's menu. I give kid friendly 1 star. Now for food. I ordered chicken tender's with smile face fries. But the problem is that they tasted the same. I'm not saying they taste bad,it's just that I was looking for a different taste. They had a lot of choices on the menu,it's just almost all of there dishes had chicken in them. I know that they are known for their chicken, it's just that wouldn't you get tired of chicken? I'm also not a very big buffalo wing fan ever. I give food 0 star's. My trip was a real bummer. Well,got to go.Bye.

Yesterday, my mom took me and my brother Owen on a pirate ship with my grandma.As I was leaving the pirate ship,my mom and grandma decided to go to a place called Pitango.The place made jeloto from natural ingredients such as real coco bean and strawberry's from Pennsylvania.I wanted the spicy chocolate,but my mom wanted me to try it.And I got to tell you, it was SPICY!So then I had vanilla chocolate chip.I think I give it **** 1/2 stars.It was very creamy.

Cupcakes

My neighborhood had an end of the summer outdoor movie night on Saturday where they showed "Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs."They were supposed to have a cupcake contest too and I helped my mom make cupcakes for it.We were the only ones to bring cupcakes!They were really good.My dad also made the icing for the cupcakes.I thought that I would tell you the recipe so you can try to make them too.

Cupcakes (from the Food Network - recipe for Rose Petal Cupcakes)

Ingredients:

3 large eggs
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 3/4 cups all purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup milk
6 tablespoons unsalted butter
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

(We didn't have unsalted butter, just salted, so my mom used that and didn't use the 1/4 teaspoon of salt)

Directions:

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.

Mix the flour, baking powder and salt together in a small bowl and set aside.

In a large bowl, beat the eggs with the sugar until they're a pale yellow. Add the flour mixture and beat until smooth.
Next, measure the milk, and put it in the microwave set on high for 2 minutes.
Then add the milk to the batter in a slow stream, beating until well combined. In the same measuring cup, melt the butter in the microwave. Add the melted butter to the batter along with the vanilla. Beat until well combined.

Spray the muffin tin with pan release (or use cupcake papers) and fill the compartments 3/4 of the way. Bake the cupcakes until the tops are golden and the cupcakes spring back to the touch, about 15 to 20 minutes. Remove from the oven and let cool.

Today I went to a taco place with my dad, Owen and Olivia for lunch when we were in the city.It was called Holy Frijoles.Anyway's, when I got in there flies were everywhere.Gross!Plus the food took forever!I'd give it only 1/2 * for kid freindly.They didn't have a kids menu either.Now for food, I ordered a soft taco with sour cream and no lettuce and guess what.It had lettuce!I had to take all of it off and that took me forever.But the rest was pretty good.I'd give * for food.Well that's all, bye!

Last night I went to Ikea and I had the Swedish meatballs. I've been there before, it's just my mom wanted to go there. First I'd say it's kid friendly menu is ***. There is a play area for little kids. Right now kids eat free, but there is no toy included with the kid's meal. You also get to have 3 choices, main course, side and a drink. But I had 2 main courses and a drink because my little sister LOVES the mac and cheese, but doesn't eat Swedish meatballs. Well gota go. Bye.

Hey everybody! Nice to see you again. My dad stopped and got a half dozen donuts from the Donut Shack on Ritchie Highway on his way home from work Saturday night. Today I split a chocolate creme donut with my brother Owen. It tasted really good. The icing was delicous and the donut was exelent. I'd give it **** stars it was the best chocolate creme donut I ever had.

Hey,guess what.I went to Red Robin's.And I got A idea!It's called A Taco Burger.How does it sound?But wait.There's more.It's made out of stuff such as taco meat and tortilla's!I bet I'll win the grand prize for sure!Any ways I was going to tell you how the food was and if kid's would like it or not.It would be good for kid's ages 4-12.Kid's ages 4-6 would love the fun activities they have for them like the coloring menu and the kids ages 7-12 would like the video games and watching TV.Plus there's balloons for all children.So I give Red Robin *** 1/2 stars.Now for the food.I love the Rad Robin burger but I don't like the seeds on the bun.Some of the other kids menu items are pretty good except the macaroni.They are corn dog, spaghetti, pizza, chicken fingers, chicken on a stick, grilled cheese sandwich, and quesadilla.I give **** stars for food.Well, gotta go.
